MaterialsOne of the most important aspects in the safety of children’s products is the choice of materials used to make the products. Because you can’t determine what materials a product is made of just by looking at it, we always examine our products in detail to ensure that permissible limits are never exceeded. All of our products must comply with our requirements for toys with regard to their chemical and migration properties. Our requirements include all relevant, current legal directives. In addition, we also set our own permissible limits for material manufacturers when we believe the legal standard does not go far enough. Specifically, our requirements are based on the following standards:

Fun factorWe begin examining the value of our products as early as the development stage and look for potential dangers that could arise as a child plays with our toys. We believe that toys are more than just a means of entertainment. The “fun factor†also includes a toy’s cultural value, which promotes a child’s development. The emotional development of a child is just as important as intellectual development and learning motor skills. We firmly believe that a good toy – and good design in particular – can positively influence a child’s development. It is only logical then that we understand “safety†as an integral part of a toy’s “fun & cuddle factorâ€.
We apply the following instruments in the testing of our products:
We only add products to our collections that have fulfilled these requirements. |
